Eleanor O’Farrell Bordages

Eleanor O’Farrell Bordages, 72, of Clanton, passed away on Jan. 28 at Shelby Baptist Medical Center in Alabaster.

She was born in Lakeshore, Miss., the daughter of the late William Harvey O’Farrell and the late Lenora Dubisson O’Farrell.

She was a homemaker.

She is survived by her husband of 52 years, the Rev. Harold Bordages of Clanton; daughter, Mary Kay Wilkinson of Bay St. Louis, Miss., daughter, Shelley Marie Carter of Waveland, Miss.; seven grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren and sisters, Corrie May Lusich of Lakeshore, Miss., Viva Hayes of Bay St. Louis, Miss. and Patty Jean Baker of Texas.

Funeral services were held on Jan. 30 at 5 p.m. from the Mt. Pisgah United Methodist Church in Clanton, with Rev. Harold Bordages officiating.

Visitation was held one hour prior to the service at the church.

A second visitation will be held on Jan. 31 from 12:30-1:30 p.m. at the Main Street United Methodist Church in Bay St. Louis, Miss.

A graveside service will follow at 2 p.m. in the Garden of Memories Cemetery in Bay St. Louis, Miss.

The family request no flowers, but encourage memorial contributions be made to the Mt. Pisgah United Methodist Church in Clanton.

Final care and arrangements entrusted to the Ellison Memorial Funeral Home of Clanton.
