Grady Oneal Davis, 82, of Verbena, passed away Jan. 15.

He was born on Jan. 9, 1933, in Chilton County, the son of the late Jessie A. Davis and the late Gertrude Friday Davis.

He was a prison guard.

Surviving are his wife, Annie Pearl Davis of Verbena; sons, Donnie Davis of Verbena, Mark Davis (Christine) of Clanton; grandchildren, Christy Logsdon (Jason) of Ohio, Valarie Wright (Jonathan) of Clanton, Kelley Sikes (Jason) of Daphne, Tiffany Roof of Verbena, Donavan Davis of Verbena, Hunter Davis of Clanton, Jessalyn Davis of Clanton; great-grandchildren, Shelby and Shane Logsdon, Jonny Wright, Ethan and Brodie Sikes; brother, Billy W. Davis (Brenda S.) of Prattville and sister, Lucy Jones of Clanton.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Jessie and Gertrude Davis; son, Ricky Davis; brother, Arthur Davis and sister, Ethel Davis.

Friends were received from 5-7 p.m. Jan. 16 at Martin Funeral Home Chapel.
