Government offices in Chilton County have adjusted their hours this week because of the Thanksgiving holiday.

The Chilton County Courthouse will be closed Thursday and Friday.

Clanton City Hall will be closed Thursday and Friday. Clanton city workers will be collecting trash one day early this week because of the holiday, so residents are encouraged to have their trash cans at the road early.

Jemison City Hall will be closed after 1 p.m. Wednesday, and then Thursday and Friday. Trash will be picked up Wednesday and Friday.

Maplesville Town Hall will be closed after noon on Wednesday, and then Thursday and Friday. Trash was picked up on Tuesday and will also be picked up on Friday (trash is normally picked up on Thursday and Friday).

Thorsby Town Hall will be closed after 2 p.m. Wednesday, and then Thursday and Friday. Trash pickup will not be affected.

Chilton County Schools are closed Wednesday, Thursday and Friday.

Jefferson State Community College Clanton Campus will be closed Thursday and Friday.
