Annie Lois Martin Gore Headley

Annie Lois Martin Gore Headley, 85, of Thorsby, passed away Nov. 24 at Shelby Baptist Medical Center in Alabaster.

She was born on March 17, 1929, in Chilton County, the daughter of the late John T. Ellis “Dick” Martin and the late Annis Katharine Killingsworth.

She was a bookkeeper.

Surviving are her husband, Hoyt Headley of Thorsby; children, Ronald Gore of Jemison, Debra Ann Gore Jedlicka of Alabaster, Mark Douglas Gore of Homewood, Carla Gore Matthews of Hoover, Carole Jayne “CJ” Gore Childress of Jemison; nine grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; sister, Sue Lewis of Portland, Ore.; brothers, Chuck Martin of Centreville, Joey Martin of Green Bay, Wis.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Loyce Douglas (L.D.) Gore; mother, Annis Martin; father, Dick Martin; brother, Grady Martin; daughter-in-law, Valerie Gore.

Services will be held Nov. 28 at 11 a.m. at Martin Chapel with the Rev. Kenny Graham and the Rev. Martha Headley officiating.

Interment will follow in Mineral Springs Cemetery in Clanton.
