A Verbena man succumbed to injuries he sustained in a single-vehicle wreck on Nov. 19 and died Nov. 21, according to a press release from Alabama State Troopers.

James Earl Lutz, 30, drove a 2004 Isuzu pickup truck that left the roadway and struck a tree off Chilton County Road 29, five miles north of Clanton.

No more information was available as Troopers continue to investigate.
