Betty Waugh Bryant, 75, of Childersburg, passed away Nov. 11 at Princeton Baptist Medical Center.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Ivan T. and Eunice Ann Waugh; brother, Gary Waugh; and sons, Edward L. Bryant and Jefferey S. Bryant.

Surviving are her husband, Charles C. Bryant of Childersburg; sons, Charles C. Bryant Jr. (Gloria) of Chattanooga, Tenn., Steven R. Thomas (Linda) of Deatsville; daughter, Kathy L. Stephens (Wayne) of Jacksonville, Fla.; daughter-in-law, Sandy Bryant of Verbena; brothers, Allen Waugh (Linda), Tom Waugh (Lisa); sisters, Jeanette Waugh Kassaw, Margaret Waugh Hart, 15 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren.

She attended Grace Baptist Church in Childersburg and was a physical therapy assistant. She was the former president of the Childersburg Quilting Guild and was a member of the United Daughters of the Confederacy.

Visitation will be held Nov. 14 from 5-8 p.m. at Curtis and Son Childersburg Chapel.

Funeral services will be Nov. 15 at 11 a.m. at Curtis and Son Childersburg Chapel with the Rev. Frank Thompson officiating.

Burial will be at Evergreen Cemetery.

Curtis and Son Funeral Home Childersburg Chapel will direct the services.
