With Veterans Day this Tuesday, Nov. 11, various schools and businesses will be closed for the holiday.

Below is a list of the following closings and schedule changes:

•The Chilton County Courthouse will be closed.

•Thorsby Town Hall will be closed, and trash will be picked up Wednesday instead of Tuesday.

•Jemison City Hall will be closed, and trash pickup will not be affected.

•Maplesville Town Hall will be closed, and trash pickup will run as normally scheduled.

•Clanton City Hall will be closed, and trash will be picked up as normal.

•Chilton County Schools will be closed.

•Jefferson State Community College Chilton-Clanton Campus will be closed.
