The Chilton County Arts Council will open the annual Members Only Exhibit Nov. 8 at the Rose Gallery.

“We have a very active and creative community of artists of all kinds in Chilton County and the surrounding areas,” Rose Gallery Director Sue Anne Hoyt said. “The public will definitely want to see this exhibit. The scope and variety of styles and approaches is amazing. There is a lot of real artistic talent here. We want to celebrate that and bring it into the spotlight.”

Hoyt said a piece of original, local artwork “always” makes a fine holiday gift.

The public is invited to a reception to kick off the exhibit on Nov. 8 from noon-2 p.m.

Many of the artists will be on hand to answer questions and discuss their work.

Cookies and refreshments will be served.

The Chilton County Arts Council is located at 703 Second Ave. N. in downtown Clanton.

The Rose Gallery is open for public viewing every Thursday from 1-3 p.m.

Private viewing for groups or individuals can be scheduled by calling the Arts Council at 217-3027.
