Peggy M. Cleckler, 82, of Clanton, passed away Oct. 13.

She was born Jan. 23, 1932, in Chilton County, the daughter of the late Tommy Lee Maddox and the late Rose Lee Wyatt Maddox.

She was a homemaker.

She is survived by her sisters-in-law, Doris Maddox, Elaine Maddox, Sadie Maddox; special niece, Kim Baker; special nephew, Dwayne Maddox, all of Clanton.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Tommy and Rosa Maddox.

Friends will be received from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Oct. 16 at Walnut Creek Methodist Church.

Services will be held Oct. 16 at 1 p.m. at Walnut Creek United Methodist Church with the Rev. Tony Hughes officiating.

Interment will follow in Walnut Creek United Methodist Cemetery in Clanton.
