Myra Faye Edwards, 67, of Clanton, passed away on Oct. 7 at her home. She was born on Feb. 6, 1947, to the late Luther Lee Edwards and the late Cynthia Vivian Coker.

She was a homemaker.

She is survived by her son, Frankie (Connie) Edwards of Maplesville; daughter, Anita (Joel) Miller of Clanton; son, Ray (Tammy) Edwards of Clanton; son, Chris (Barbara) Edwards of Jemison; daughter, Melinda Benton of Clanton; 13 grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; brother, Reuben Edwards of Clanton; brother, Thomas Lee Edwards; brother, Ray (Shirley) Edwards of Clanton; sister, Margaret (Sammy) Fuller of Clanton; and sister, Carolyn Smitherman of Clanton.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Luther and Cynthia Edwards; husband, Bobby Edwards; son, Billy Edwards; grandson, Forest Lee Benton; sister, Margie Nell Littleton; sister, Linda Maureen Willis; and sister, Debra Jo Headley.

Funeral services will be held on Oct. 10 at 7 p.m. from Ellison Memorial Funeral Home Chapel.

The family will receive friends on Oct. 10 from 5-7 p.m. at the funeral home.
