The fall class schedule for the Chilton County Arts Council has been released.

The classes are taught on an ongoing basis. Students may join when they like and attend as many classes as they wish.

Current classes include:

Children’s Art Class with Scarlett Teel

•Mondays from 6-8 p.m., Sept. 15 until Dec. 15.

•Supply list: 19-by-21-inch drawing pad for pencil, marker or paint; watercolor set; set of brushes; colored pencils; paper towels; scissors; old painting shirt; box, bucket or other container for your supplies.

Adult Art Class with Scarlett Teel

•Tuesdays from 6-10 p.m., Sept. 16 until Dec. 16.

•Supply list: Depends on the medium you choose for your work.

Clay Creations with Joseph Frye

Scheduled to begin in mid-November. More details as they become available.

To enroll in these classes, call the Chilton County Arts Council at (205) 217-3027 or come a few minutes early to any scheduled class and sign up on the spot.

The Chilton County Arts Council is located at 703 Second Ave. N. in downtown Clanton.

The Rose Gallery is open for public viewing Thursdays from 1-3 p.m. Viewings for groups can be scheduled by calling the Arts Council at (205) 217-3027.
