Isabella’s football team earned an impressive road victory on Friday.

Isabella won at Loachapoka, 42-0, to improve its overall record to 3-0 and its Class 1A, Region 3 record to 2-0.

Loachapoka falls to 1-3 and 1-2.

The Mustangs took a 14-0 lead in the first quarter on a 40-yard pass from Tyler Smith to Scottie Underwood and a 1-yard scoring run by Jacob Carroll.

C.J. LeCroy was good on all his point-after attempts on the night.

IHS wouldn’t score again until the third quarter, but that’s when the visitors put the game away with a 55-yard pass from Smith to Underwood, a five-yard touchdown run by Smith and a 25-yard run by Hunter Langston that ended in the end zone.

In the fourth quarter, Austin Brasher scored on a 30-yard pass from Smith.
