Patsy Jane Braden Hamilton, 64, of Clanton, passed away July 30 at her residence.

She was born on Aug. 2, 1949, in Jefferson County, the daughter of the late Gilbert L. Braden and the late Ollie Mae Brooks Braden.

She was a bookkeeper.

Surviving are husband, Wayne Hamilton of Clanton; two sons, Patrick McDaniel (Dana) and Mark McDaniel, both of Jemison; granddaughter, Jennifer McDaniel of Dothan; three grandsons, Gilbert McDaniel, Braden McDaniel and Brooks McDaniel, all of Jemison; sister, Joyce Hill of Calera; brother, Royce Braden of Ofallen, Ill. and brother-in-law, Richard “Dick” Whisner of Verbena.

She is preceded in death by her parents and sister, Mary Ann Whisner.

Friends will be received from 5-8 p.m. Aug. 1 at Martin Funeral Home Chapel.

Graveside services will be held Aug. 2 at 1 p.m. at Chilton Memorial Gardens with the Rev. Tony Smitherman and the Rev. Daniel Wilson officiating.
