Lorryann “Cookie” Dunn and Michael T. Thrower are pleased to announce their engagement and forthcoming marriage.


The bride-elect is the daughter of Loreen Faust and Edward E. Palmer of Jemison.

She is the granddaughter of Frances M. and Floyd J. Lucas of Randolph.

She received her GED in 1982 and graduated from Virginia College with a bachelor’s degree in business.

The prospective groom is the son of Betty Turner and James Thrower of Wetumpka.

He is a 1986 graduate of Lewis County High School.

He is currently employed at Xtreme Transportation.

The wedding will be Sept. 6.

Invitations have been sent, but friends and family are invited to attend.
