Mountain Springs Church

Services started with Bro. Kenneth Moates leading the church in the following hymns: “Oh, I Want to See Him,” “Old Time Power,” “I’m Going That Way,” “When the Redeemed are Gathering In” and “When the Saints Go Marching In.”

Bro. Roger Cleckler gave a devotion from Psalms 27:4. We should have a desire to come to church. Our wish in life should be to be as close to God as we can.

After Sunday school, Bro. Kenneth led the church in the hymn “I Want to Be Ready to Meet Him” and Rickey and Sherrie Williams sang “Precious Memories.”

Bro. Heath Vines preached from 2 Corinthians 13:5. We need to examine our Christian life and fix anything that may be leading us away from God. God gives us warning signs to show we are not where we should be with our walk with him. Some of the warning signs he gives us are loss of focus, loss of passion, loss of commitment and loss of emotions.

Sunday night’s service began with Bro. Kenneth Moates leading the church in the hymns “This World Is Not My Home,” “Redeemed” and “Anywhere is Home.”

Bro. Kenneth Moates gave a devotion from Exodus 13:17. God is looking for a church that is harnessed together to become one unit for him.

We were very blessed to have special guest Mr. Mike Brasher. He blessed many hearts as he played the piano and ministered to us through song.

Bro. Heath preached from Luke 6:46-49. We have to come to God, hear God and do what he tells us to do in order to live a happy life for Christ. Have you dug deep to the things God has called you to do?
