Tommie Sue Robinson, age 37 of Jemison, passed away suddenly on May 20 in Clanton. She was born in Birmingham on Aug. 16, 1976, the daughter of John Thomas Hollis and the late Jimmie Sue Jackson Hollis.

She was employed with Johnson Controls as an assembly line tech.

She is survived by: daughter, Katie Robinson; father, John T. “Tommy” Hollis; brother, Thomas “PeeWee” (Tina) Hollis; niece, Courtney Hollis; niece, Brittney Hollis, all of Jemison; along with a host of other relatives and friends.

She is preceded in death by her mother, Jimmie Sue Hollis.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, May 22 from 5–8 p.m. at Ellison Memorial Funeral Home.

Funeral services will be held on Friday, May 23 at 11 a.m. from the Chapel of Ellison Memorial Funeral Home with the Rev. Jimmy Simpler.

Burial will follow in Pleasant Hill Baptist Church Cemetery in Jemison.
