Two suspects were arrested recently in conjunction with a string of automobile break-ins that took place April 22.

Christian Vinson, 18, of Clanton and Alexander Williams, 18, of Clanton were arrested and charged with multiple counts of breaking and entering of an automobile in the area of Second Avenue North and Fourth Avenue North.

On the morning of April 23, Clanton Police Department detectives were notified and responded to the scene, where they recovered a cell phone that was unidentified by the victims.

During an investigation, detectives determined the phone belonged to one of the offenders and had been dropped during the crime.

Some property was recovered during the investigation.

Vinson is being held in the Chilton County Jail on a $30,000 bond. Williams has made bond.
