Cecil Riggs Ratliff, 76, of Maplesville passed away April 30.

He was born on July 26, 1937, in Chilton County, the son of the late Earnest Glendon Ratliff and the late Flora Minor Ratliff.

He was a farmer.

He is survived by his wife, Betty Ratliff of Maplesville; sons, Michael R. Ratliff (Miriam) of Maplesville, David Ratliff (Heather) of Clanton; grandchildren, Aaron, Davis, Chanley, Mackenzie, Madelyn, Maverick, Macade, Marleigh Ratliff; brother, Billy Ratliff of Montgomery; sister, Jean Tatum of Deatsville; extended family, Billy Barrett (Brenda) and Kay Davidson (Jimmy).

He was preceded in death by his wife, Helen Davis Ratliff; grandson, Morgan Ratliff; brothers, Willard, S.B., Junior, Woody Ratliff; sisters, Margie Gilliland, Pauline Payton and extended family, Julia Crocker.

Friends will be received from 6-8 p.m. May 2 at Liberty Hill Baptist Church.

Services will be held May 3 at 11 a.m. at Liberty Hill Baptist Church with the Rev. Kent Dodson officiating.

Interment will follow in Sardis Baptist Cemetery in Maplesville.
