The Gardens of Clanton celebrated St. Patrick’s Day with a party and fashion show.

SouthernCare Hospice hosted the fashion show, donated cupcakes, chips and pizza from Pizza Hut.

The residents were judged in their formal wear.

The 2014 Queen was Adelle Wright, first alternate was Cricket Lovett, second alternate was Betty Cunningham, third alternate was Deborah Karn and Miss Congeniality was Darlene Cunningham.

Suncrest donated St. Patrick’s cookies and LeCroy Career Technical Center cosmetology students did the residents’ hair, makeup and nails.

Residents also celebrated Gardens Administrator Vickie P. Moseley’s ninth anniversary at The Gardens of Clanton.

She was surprised with gifts and cards from her staff and residents.
