William Harding Chandler Sr., 83, of Billingsley, passed away March 27 at Jackson Hospital in Montgomery.

He was born on Sept. 12, 1930, in Autauga County, the son of the late Thomas Sidney Chandler and the late Sally Roberta Chandler.

He was a machinist.

He is survived by his daughter, Willa Chandler (David Sullivan) of Chickasaw; son, William H. Chandler Jr. of Tampa, Fla.; grandchildren, Timothy, Kenneth, Adam and Rachael Chandler; great-grandchildren, Timothy Jr., Bryson Jr., Shay and Jordan Chandler; brother, Henry Chandler of Billingsley and sister, Clara Willis of Watley.

Friends will be received from 12-1 p.m. March 31 at Pilgrim Rest Baptist Church.

Services will be held March 31 at 1 p.m. at Pilgrim Rest Baptist Church with the Rev. Travis Marler officiating.

Interment will follow in Pilgrim Rest Cemetery in Maplesville.
