Willie Thelma Stroud, 98, of Maplesville, passed away March 27.

She was born on April 20, 1915, in Chilton County, the daughter of the late Charlie H. Giles and the late Mary Willett Giles.

She was a homemaker.

She is survived by her daughters, Judy Campbell of Maplesville, Linda Gross of Hope Hull, Rita Stroud of Alabaster; brother, David Omar Giles of Montgomery; eight grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Barney Stroud and daughter, Bobbie Baker.

Friends will be received from 6-8 p.m. March 28 at Martin Funeral Home Chapel.

Services will be held March 29 at 2 p.m. at Ebenezer Baptist Church with the Rev. Danny Rasberry officiating.

Interment will follow in Greenlawn Memorial Gardens in Maplesville.
