Editor’s note: Below is a compilation of the statistics and achievements compiled by graduates of Chilton County area schools who now compete at the college level.

Baseball

Chance Calloway (Chilton County 2012) collected his eighth appearance and fifth start of the season to contribute one strikeout and allow three earned runs in a four-inning performance for Lurleen B. Wallace Community College (13-13, 3-7 Alabama Community College Conference) in an 8-4 loss at Faulkner State Community College (19-6, 8-2 Alabama Community College Conference) on March 12 in Bay Minette.

For the season, the sophomore hurler totals a 1-2 record, 28.2 innings, 19 strikeouts and a 2.20 ERA.

Alex Campbell (Jemison 2013) contributed his eighth appearance and fifth start as a pitcher for Wallace Community College-Selma (13-13, 2-4 Alabama Community College Conference) to contribute three strikeouts and allow one earned run in a six-inning performance in a 4-3 loss at Lawson State Community College (12-11, 0-6 Alabama Community College Conference) on March 14 in Birmingham.

For the season, the freshman totals an 0-2 record, two complete games, 39 innings, 17 strikeouts and a 3.00 ERA.

He adds offensively versatility, compiling five RBI, two walks, one double and a .258 batting average.

Cameron Cummings (Chilton County 2013) collected one walk as a pinch hitter for University of South Alabama (10-8, 1-1 Sun Belt Conference) in a 2-1 victory at home against Troy University (10-8, 1-1 Sun Belt Conference) on March 15 in Mobile.

For the season, the freshman outfielder has produced four RBI, two runs scored, one stolen base and a .226 batting average.

Craig Headley (Chilton County 2013) batted 1-for-3 with one run scored for Jefferson Davis Community College (7-14, 4-8 Alabama Community College Conference) in a 10-4 loss at Wallace Community College-Dothan (15-11, 8-2 Alabama Community College Conference) on March 15 in Brewton.

For the season, the freshman catcher totals 10 walks, seven runs scored, five RBI, three doubles, one stolen base and a .312 batting average.

Bo Hoffman (Thorsby 2013) compiles four appearances and two starts for Marion Military Institute (6-18-1, 1-5 Alabama Community College Conference) to produce a 1-1 record, seven innings, three strikeouts and an 11.57 ERA.

Stephen Mims (Thorsby 2013) totals one appearance, one strikeout, two innings and a 4.50 ERA as a pitcher for Wallace Community College-Selma (13-13, 2-4 Alabama Community College Conference).

Men’s rodeo

Andy Phillips (Maplesville 2011) collected a runner-up finish in the saddle bronc riding event at the University of Arkansas-Monticello with 58 points for University of West Alabama from March 6-8 in Monticello, Ark.

Softball

Brianna Cleckler (Chilton County 2013) collected her 10th win of the season by contributing a game-high seven strikeouts, allowing two hits and not allowing an earned run in a complete-game effort for Southern Union State Community College (24-7) in a 16-0 thrashing of Jefferson Davis Community College (7-24) on March 15 in Auburn.

For the season, the freshman hurler totals a 10-3 record, eight complete games, 77 innings, 54 strikeouts and a 2.18 ERA.

Tiffany Guin (Jemison 2012) contributed one strikeout, allowed one hit and did not allow an earned run en route to collecting her 10th win of the season with a two-inning performance as the starting pitcher for Central Alabama Community College (20-8) in a 10-1 triumph at home against Jefferson Davis Community College (7-23) on March 11 in Alexander City.

For the season, the sophomore right-hander tallies 17 appearances and 11 starts to contribute a 10-3 record, five complete games, two saves, 55 innings, 28 strikeouts and a 4.84 ERA.

Shelby Lopez (Jemison 2012) batted 2-for-5 with two RBI for Central Alabama Community College (20-8) in a 20-17 loss against Middle Georgia State College (9-8) in Game 1 of a three-game series on March 15 in Auburn.

In Game 2, the infielder finished 2-for-2 in a 10-9 loss against Faulkner State Community College (17-13).

In Game 3, the sophomore batted 1-for-4 with one run scored in a 16-8 triumph against Snead State Community College (9-17).

For the season, she totals 17 runs scored, 11 RBI, seven doubles, five stolen bases, one home run, one triple and a .282 batting average.

Meliah Matthews (Marbury 2010) collected four strikeouts and allowed two earned runs in a complete-game effort for Judson College in a 2-0 loss at LaGrange College on Feb. 22 in LaGrange, Ga.

The senior is a Clanton native.

Season statistics were not available.

Lauren Stewart (Chilton County 2012) batted 1-for-2 with two RBI and one run scored for Southern Union State Community College (24-7) in a 16-0 thrashing of Jefferson Davis Community College (7-24) on March 15 in Auburn.

For the season, the catcher has produced six RBI, five runs, two doubles and a .290 batting average.

Women’s outdoor track and field

Lori Davis (Billingsley 2012) placed ninth in the javelin at the Battle of Interstate 65 for Alabama State University with a mark of 101 feet, 5.75 inches on March 14 in Mobile.

In the competition, University of South Alabama swept the field of four teams with a score of 107, while ASU collected third with a total of 16.
