Myrtle Lorene Bice

Lorene Bice, 90, of Jemison died Thursday, March 13 in Clanton.

She was born on Thursday, Aug. 9, 1923, in Chilton County, daughter of the late Loss Robinson and the late Mary Varden Robinson.

She was a retired grocery clerk.

Bice was a member of Cedar Springs Assembly of God Church and Thompson Chapel Church for a number of years.

Surviving are son, Oneal (Doris) Bice of Jemison; son, Doug (Becky) Bice of Jemison; daughter, Mary Ellison of Jemison; four grandchildren, Kelli Bice of Birmingham, Yolanda (Andy) Davison of Jemison, Steven (Jodi) Bice of Jemison and Christopher Bice of Jemison; three great-grandchildren, Kinsley Davison of Jemison, Bella Bice of Birmingham and Anna Bice of Jemison.

She was preceded in death by: husband, Jessie E. Bice, and her brothers and sisters.

Friends will be received from 6–8 p.m., Sunday, March 16 at Martin Chapel.

Services will be held Monday, March 17 at 1 p.m. at Martin Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Mark Bolton officiating.

Interment will follow in Union Grove Community Cemetery in Jemison.
