Jimmy Wayne Brand, 67, of Deatsville, passed away March 11 at his residence in Deatsville.

He was born on Dec. 8, 1946, in Chilton County, the son of the late Braxton B. Brand and the late Willodean Mims Brand.

He was a commercial printer.

He is survived by his wife, Pearle Gee Brand of Prattville; sister, Patricia A. Hollon of Prattville; brother, Bobby Brand of Verbena; uncles and aunts, Clyde and Carolyn Mims of Elkhart, Ky. and Earl and Dean Mims of Verbena, a number of nieces and nephews and two German Shepherds, Cheyenne Bear and Lakota Whirling Cloud.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Braxton and Willodean Brand; brothers, Eugene, Braxton and Thomas Brand.

Friends will be received from 1-2 p.m. March 14 at Martin Funeral Home Chapel.

Services will be held March 14 at 2 p.m. at Martin Chapel with the Rev. Joe Camp officiating.

Interment will follow in Lime Springs Methodist Cemetery in Clanton.
