Gloria Bush Scott, 72, of Maplesville, passed away on Feb. 23.

She was born on March 6, 1941, in Jefferson County, the daughter of the late Frank Bush and the late Gladys Jackson Melton.

She was a homemaker.

She is survived by her daughters, Patricia Scott Jackson (Ben) of Jasper, Judy Scott McCullough (Allen) of Maplesville and Christine Epperson (Ray) of Maplesville; son, Leslie Howard Scott (Donna) of Selma; 10 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; brothers, James Curtis Bush (Jimmy) of Maplesville and Jerry Melton (Buddy) of Maplesville; sisters, Virginia Finney of Grove Hill, Linda Driskell of Florida and Peggy Atkins of Georgia.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Gladys Melton; daughter, Rita Thompson; husband, Wallace H. Scott and brother, Frank Bush.

Friends will be received from 5-8 p.m. Feb. 25 at Martin Funeral Home Chapel.

Services will be held Feb. 26 at 1 p.m. at Hillcrest Baptist Church with the Rev. William Short and the Rev. Billy Wyatt officiating.

Interment will follow in Greenlawn Memorial Gardens in Maplesville.
