Frances Lynette Causey Owens, 56, of Hueytown, passed away Feb. 16 at her residence.

She was born in Elkhart, Ind., on Oct. 6, 1957, the daughter of the late Jerry M. Causey and Frances Skinner Causey.

She was a former police dispatcher for the city of Pleasant Grove.

She is survived by her son, Mark Owens (Jennifer) of Oak Grove; daughter, Christi Morrow of Hueytown; grandchildren, Taylor Morrow, Blake Owens and Jacob Owens; mother, Frances Causey; sister, Renea Hollis (Tim) of Jemison; sister, Debbie Bridgmon (Ricky) of Oak Grove and brother-in-law, Chester Hinton (Jackie) of Hueytown.

She is preceded in death by her father, Jerry M. Causey; grandchild, Malorey Owens and sister, Teri Hinton.

Services will be held Feb. 20 at 2 p.m. from the Grant Street Baptist Church in Bessemer with the Rev. Jason Green officiating.

The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.
