Some local government offices will be closed Monday for the Presidents’ Day holiday.

Chilton County Schools will be closed, but classes at Jefferson State Community College’s Clanton Campus will be held as usual.

As Presidents’ Day is a state holiday, the Chilton County Courthouse will be closed on Monday.

Maplesville Town Hall will also be closed, but the closure will not affect the town’s garbage route.

Clanton City Hall, Jemison City Hall and Thorsby Town Hall will all be open on Monday, and no services will be interrupted.

Jemison City Council and Thorsby Town Council will both hold meetings Monday at 6 p.m.

The 6 p.m. start time is a change for Thorsby’s Council, as meetings were previously held at 6:30 p.m.
