Chilton County schools will open two hours later than usual on Tuesday because of the threat of inclement weather, according to Superintendent Dave Hayden.

Schools will open at 10 a.m. instead of 8 a.m. like usual.

Weather forecasts call for precipitation Tuesday that is expected to fall in the form of sleet and snow in some parts of the state, though its questionable whether Chilton County will see freezing rain.
