Myrtice C. Edwards, 82, of Clanton, passed away Feb. 3 at Hatley Health Care in Clanton.

She was born on March 9, 1931, in Chilton County, the daughter of the late Ellis Cleckler and the late Sally Bell Cleckler.

She was a homemaker.

Surviving are her son, Rickey Edwards (Sandy); daughters, Connie Cunningham (Johnny) and Cindy Jones of Clanton; six grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; sister, Velma Easterling (Bugg) of Verbena.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Ellis and Sally Bell Cleckler.

Friends will be received from 5-8 p.m. Feb. 4 at Martin Funeral Home.

Services will be held Feb. 5 at 1 p.m. at Martin Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Wendell Kelley officiating.

Interment will follow in Edwards Family Cemetery in Clanton.
