Maplesville Police Department reports for the week of Dec. 23, 2013

The following is an activity report of the Maplesville Police Department Nov. 22-Dec. 13:

Nov. 26
•Damage to a vehicle after an intoxicated person fell from a porch, striking the vehicle and causing damage to the passenger’s quarter panel: Mobile St.

Nov. 29
•While at a football game, and arrest was made for being drunk in public and for disorderly conduct: Maplesville High School

Dec. 3
•A warrant was served by Maplesville officers for a failure to appear warrant for theft of property with the Town of Maplesville: Chilton County Jail

Dec. 4
•A report was made for harassment after threats were made to the victim: Frazier Mill, Alabama Highway 22

Dec. 9
•A report was made for a private property accident, slight damage: Behind the gym at Maplesville High School

Dec. 12
•After a traffic stop, the driver of the vehicle gave the officer a false name to avoid an outstanding warrant with Clanton. Once the real name was revealed, an arrest was made for giving false information to a law enforcement officer:  Alabama Highway 22 and Dollar General
