County votes to give sheriff money for vehicles

The commission also held elections for the positions of chairman and vice chairman.

County Attorney John Hollis Jackson held the nomination procedure for the chairman position with Welch nominating Caton as chairman.

Hayes voted that the nominations be closed and everyone voted in favor of Caton serving a second term as commission chairman.

Caton held the nominations for vice-chairman with Moore nominating Joe Headley to serve as the commission vice-chairman.
