Timothy Ross Mims, 53, of Maplesville, passed away Nov. 14.

He was born June 3, 1960, in Dallas County, the son of William Ross Mims and Jo Ann Perry Sims.

He was a funeral director.

Surviving are daughter, Perrin Mims of Maplesville; son, T.R. Mims of Maplesville; mother, Jo Ann Sims (Gene) of Maplesville; father, Ross Mims of Jones; brothers, James Mims (Teresa) of Jones, Frank Lightsey (Kathy) of Millbrook; sisters, Dena Lightsey of Maplesville, Jane Moran (Harold) of Plantersville; stepbrother, Danny Sims of Maplesville and Terry Sims of Jemison and a host of family and friends.

Friends will be received from 5-8 p.m. Nov. 15 at Maplesville Baptist Church.

Services will be held Nov. 16 at 11 a.m. at Maplesville Baptist Church with the Rev. William Short and the Rev. Lynn Roe officiating.

Interment will follow in Mt. Carmel Baptist No. 2 in Maplesville.
