Calvary Independent Baptist Church

We want to thank everyone who attended services this weekend. We invite our visitors to come back and be a part of any of our services.

Sunday morning’s message was from John 8:38-59 titled “Knowing God Above All Else.” It was about hearing the words of God and expecting action. Hating the ones who know the truth and tell us the truth does not make matters better. We are to want the truth, let the truth direct our path and make sure we are seeking to honor God with our lives. He is the one we need to hear, know and follow. We hope you know the Lord Jesus Christ and are hearing and following God in your life today.

Sunday night’s service included a message from 1 Thessalonians 5:1-9 on thanking God that Paul had no need to write to us about the wrath that is going to be poured out upon this earth one day. Why? Because we who are saved are not appointed unto wrath, but rather we have been appointed unto salvation through Jesus Christ our Lord. Oh what a glorious day it will be when we are all gathered together to meet Christ in the air.

We hope that you know the Lord Jesus Christ as your personal savior and are growing in his grace daily. We invite you to come and visit with us for any of our services. We will be having Revival services beginning Sept. 22 at 5:30 p.m., and then Monday-Friday, Sept. 23-27, services will begin at 6:30 p.m. each night. Please pray that God will save some that are lost, revive some that are saved and help us all to live our lives better for him each day.
