Calvary Independent Baptist Church

We want to thank everyone who attended services this weekend. We also want to invite our visitors to come back for any of our services.

We ask everyone to be in prayer for our upcoming Revival services Sept. 22-27:

On Sunday, Sept. 22, service will begin at 5:30 p.m. Monday- Friday, Sept. 23-27, service will begin at 6:30 p.m. each night.

Please plan to be with us for these services if you can.

This Sunday morning’s service included a message from John 8:33-38 on why we need revival. Many people are unaware of their spiritual condition, many ignore the consequences of sin and many do not realize how far away from God they have gone sometimes. Any of us can become burned out when we put out more than we are taking in. Revival is a time to get charged up again.

Sunday night’s service included a message from Colossians, Romans, Corinthians, Thessalonians, Philippians and other books about the imminent rapture, the coming of Christ that we are told to be looking for by the Apostle Paul. It is about that part of the inheritance we have been predestined to receive because we are in the body of Christ, because we first trusted the gospel of Christ. It is really awesome that we have the adoption now as sons, yet I thank God and am also very excitedly looking for that adoption to wit: the redemption of our vain body. We hope you are excitedly waiting on the return of the Lord Jesus Christ. What an awesome day that will be when we all meet together in the air!

We want to invite you to come and visit with us for any of our regular services. We are located south of Clanton, just past Dollar General, off U.S. 31 on Fulmer Drive. Sunday school: 9 a.m., Children’s Church and adult worship service: 10 a.m., Sunday service: 5:30 p.m. and Wednesday Service: 6:30 p.m. You can also check out our latest news and listen to and download sermons from our website at www.cibc-clanton.com.
