Maplesville wins; Verbena falls

Chilton County’s two sets of Red Devils had opposite experiences on the football field on Friday.

Maplesville (8-0, 6-0) remained unbeaten with a 55-0 win at Holy Spirit (1-7, 0-6).

Verbena (0-8, 0-6), meanwhile, fell to St. Jude (6-2, 5-1) by a 60-14 score.

Juwan Tyus and Raymond Bulger scored touchdowns for the Devils.
