Judy Roper Daniel, 59, of Columbiana, passed away suddenly on Oct. 12 at her residence.

She was born in Maylene on March 7, 1954, the daughter of the late Boyd Roper and the late Minnie Lou Black Roper.

She was a former landscaper with the City of Birmingham Parks and Recreation Department.

She is survived by her husband, Larry Wayne Davenport of Alabaster; daughter, Lisa (Gordon) Davenport of Columbiana; son, Trenton D. Davenport of Columbiana; grandchildren: Lacey M. (Teddy) Davenport of Columbiana, Kacey N. Davenport of Wilsonville, Brandon W. Davenport of Chelsea and Whitney Hope Davenport of Alabaster; great grandchildren, Jalyn O. Green and Sarah A. Green of Birmingham; niece, Shannon Byrd-Hernandez of Montevallo; nephew, Donny Byrd of Montevallo and nephew, Steve Amos of Brierfield.

She is preceded in death by her sister, Johnnie Mae Cox and a nephew, John Matthew Amos.

Visitation will be held on Oct. 17 from 5-8 p.m. at Ellison-Cleckler Funeral Home in Clanton.

Funeral services will be held on Oct. 18 at 2 p.m. from the Memorial Chapel of Ellison-Cleckler Funeral Home with the Rev. Janie Smith and the Rev. J. Aaron Ellison officiating.

Burial will follow the service at 3:15 p.m. at Elliottsville Cemetery in Alabaster.
