Betty Jo Taylor Muncher

Betty Jo Taylor Muncher, 82, of Clanton, passed away on Oct. 13.

She was born on Oct. 9, 1931, in Alabama, the daughter of the late A. Reedie Taylor and the late Pauline Lawrence Taylor.

Surviving are her husband, Richard Muncher of Clanton; daughters, Janice Edwards (Allen) of Clanton; Lori Muncher Cleckler of Clanton; grandsons, Jason Edwards (Renee), Travis Cleckler of Clanton; granddaughters, Shellie Sansom (Shane) of Clanton; Camille Cleckler of Clanton; great-grandchildren, Elijah Taylor Sansom; Nickolai James Cleckler of Haleyville, Tyson James Kelley of Clanton; brother, Reedie L. “Buddy” (Glenda) Taylor of Clanton.

She was preceded in death by her father, A. Reedie Taylor, mother, Pauline Lawrence Taylor and sister, Mary Ann Scott Dienenger.

Friends were received from 10-11 a.m. Oct. 14 at Martin Funeral Home Chapel.

Services were held Oct. 14 at 11 a.m. at Martin Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Tony D. Smitherman officiating.

Interment will follow in Clanton City Cemetery.
