Maplesville Police Department reports for the week of Oct. 7, 2013

The following is an activity report of the Maplesville Police Department from Sept. 6-25:

Sept. 8
•Dog roaming at large; dog was tased after charging at an officer: County Road 10

Sept. 16
•The Barking Frog was burglarized and cigarettes taken. Suspects were apprehended the next day and taken to the Chilton County Jail.

Sept. 19
•A Mitsubishi Gallant hit a deer, causing front-end damage. No injuries: County Road 10

Sept. 23
•Two-vehicle automobile accident, property damage only, no injuries: Alabama Highway 22 and Reed St.

Sept. 25
•Two counterfeit $10 bills were passed that were said by the reporting person to have come from The Sale Barn in Clanton: Maplesville Supermarket
