Bro. Roger Cleckler gave a devotion from Lamentations 3:21-23: The Lord’s mercy and compassion are new to us each and every day.

After Sunday school, Bro. Kenneth led the church in the hymn “Tis So Sweet to Trust in Jesus” and Kellie Bice sang “Who Touched Me.”

Bro. Don preached from Revelations 4:1-11: When reading Revelations, it’s good to know that even when there are troubles, Christ is still on the throne. There is coming a day when the doors of heaven will close, so we need to make sure we are ready for Christ today.

Sunday night’s service was the end-of-the-month singing. Everyone who sang did an outstanding job, and it was a blessing for everyone there.

Our Homecoming will be Sept. 8 at 10 a.m., with special guests the Mike Bowling Family and Canaanland singing. Bro. Heath Vines will give the message. We hope you and your family will be able to attend.
