Aug. 7
•Home repair fraud: 100 Block of Forrest St.
•Drug evidence recovered while executing an arrest warrant, one person charged
•Burglary: 100 Block of Hotel St.
•Theft of property: 8000 Block of County Road 42
•Death investigation, natural causes: 200 Block of Second St.
•Served eight arrest warrants for failure to appear in court
•One person arrested for public intoxication: 600 Block of Alabama Highway 191

Aug. 8
•Theft of property: 600 Block of Alabama Highway 191
•Burglary; criminal mischief: 200 Block of Guy St.
•Fraudulent use of a credit/debit card: 24000 Block of U.S. Highway 31
•Served arrest warrant for shoplifting: 600 Block of Alabama Highway 191

Aug. 10
•Drug evidence recovered during a traffic stop: County Road 5 and 219 (one person charged)
•Theft of property: Dollar General, County Road 42
•Possible stolen property recovered: County Road 5 and 219

Aug. 11
•Domestic violence; disorderly conduct: 100 Block of County Road 770 (one person arrested)
•Domestic violence: 100 Block of County Road 770 (one person arrested)
•Burglary; assault: Pineview Drive
•Served felony arrest warrant for vehicle theft
•Two-vehicle accident on private property: Exit 219 Chevron

Aug. 12
•Domestic violence: County Road 768 (one person arrested)
•Suspicious incident: 300 Block of Adams St.
•One-vehicle accident: County Road 51

Aug. 14
•Theft of property: County Road 931
•Drug evidence recovered during a traffic stop: County Road 185 (two persons charged)
•Two-vehicle accident, no injuries: County Road 42 E.

Aug. 15
•Criminal mischief: 200 Block of Princeton Lane
•Assault: U.S. Highway 31
•One person arrested for public intoxication: County Road 42

Aug. 16
•Theft of property: 28000 U.S. Highway 31

Aug. 20
•Animal cruelty: Battle St.
•Road hazard: 100 Block of County Road 38
•Negotiating a worthless instrument (bad check): DEV Food Mart
•Two-vehicle accident, no injuries:  Alabama Highway 155
