Mountain Springs Church

Services started on Sunday with Bro. Kenneth Moates leading the church in the following hymns: “There’s Power in the Blood,” “In the Garden,” “Where the Soul Never Dies” and “Just a Little While.”

Bro. Wayne Barnett gave a devotion from 2 Samuel 22:1-7. Just as David knew what God did for him, we know what God has done for us. He will never let us down.

After Sunday school, Bro. Kenneth led the church in the hymns “When We All Get to Heaven” and “Getting Ready to Leave This World.”

Bro. Don preached from John 4:1-24. God’s desire for you and me is to worship and live for the Lord from a heart according to the word of God. Many roads can take you where you need to go, but only one road will lead you to Jesus.

Sunday night’s service began with Bro. Kenneth leading the church in the hymns “Just A Little Talk with Jesus,” “I’m In a New World,” “Living By Faith” and “I Never Shall Forget the Day.”

Bro. Kenneth gave a devotion from 2 Chronicles 29. We don’t need to serve God half-heartedly. When we serve him, we need to serve him with a full heart that loves him.

Juliyanne Rutherford sang “Amazing Grace (My Chains Are Gone)” and blessed the church with her song and the talent God has blessed her with to sing.

Bro. Don preached from Ephesians 5:15-17. If we are living of the world and not of God, we are living foolishly. It is God’s will for us to be filled with the spirit of God, walk righteously and be submissive to our leaders.

Don’t forget our services are Sundays at 9:45 a.m. and 5:30 p.m., and Wednesdays at 7 p.m. Hope to see you there!
