Noette S. Beam, age 78, of Calera went home to be with the Lord on Wednesday, July 17, 2013, at her home.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Joseph and Viola Saunders; brother, Maurice Saunders; and great-grandson, Gavin Dane Beam.

She is survived by her loving husband of 59 years, Clyde Beam of Calera; daughters, Jalon Lucas (Terrell) of Montevallo, Donielle Cleckley (DeWayne) of Clanton, and Tanya Peel (Allen) of Helena; son, Randy Beam (Patti) of Jemison; brothers, David Saunders of Ocala, Fla. and Larry Saunders of Beverly Hills, Fla.; six grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be held on Friday, July 19, at Jemison First Baptist Church from 5–8 p.m. for friends.

Her funeral services will be held on Saturday, July 20, at Jemison First Baptist Church at 11 a.m.

She will lie in state one hour prior to her service time, with Randy Beam, the Rev. Clyde Beam, the Rev. George Hill and the Rev. David Farry officiating her services.

Burial will follow in Midway Cemetery in Jemison.
