Board approves new employees Tuesday (updated)

The following employee resignations were approved:

•Aimee Eiland Porter, school psychometrist at the Central Office, effective July 17.

•Samantha Ragasa, teacher at Jemison Elementary, effective July 5.

•Brittney Roberson, teacher at Jemison Elementary, effective June 21.

•Martha Burtram, special education secretary/bookkeeper, effective Sept. 1.

•Cathy M. Carroll, special education teacher assistant at Clanton Elementary, effective July 31.

•Paula Stokes, counselor at Maplesville, effective Sept. 1.

•Ginger Williams, English teacher at Thorsby, effective July 14.

•Keith Williams, science teacher at Thorsby, effective July 14.

    Thought our hard working superintendent was only going to
    Hire teachers with degrees. Guess he forgets the editorials
    That he wrote when he was a math teacher.
