Keevie Nyran Johnstone, 53, of Maplesville, passed away on July 13 at her residence.

She was born in Alabama on March 17, 1960, the daughter of Rudy Langston and the late Gayle Wilson Langston.

She was a homemaker.

She is survived by her husband, Lamar “Tack” Johnstone of Maplesville; daughter, Magen Johnstone of Alabaster; son, Corry McCartney (Ashley); daughter, Rani Johnstone of Maplesville; grandson, Cole McCartney of Maplesville; grandson, Madison McCartney of Maplesville; father, Rudy Langston of Jemison; sister, Darri Henry of Jemison; sister, Shaye Argo (Larry) of Jemison; sister, Tayna Young (Danny) of Jemison along with a host of nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.

She is preceded in death by her mother, Gayle Wilson Langston.

Visitation was held on July 15 from 5-8 p.m. at Faith Baptist Church.

Funeral services will be held on July 16 at 2 p.m. from Faith Baptist Church with the Rev. Ken Meyers officiating.

Burial will follow in the Faith Baptist Cemetery in Plantersville.
