Jack Duncan Marcus, 86, of Clanton, passed away on June 24 in Clanton.

He was born on Wednesday, April 20, 1927, in Chilton County, the son of the late William Alexander Marcus and the late Myra Duncan Marcus.

He was a retired electrician.

Surviving are his wife, Rena Duren Marcus of Clanton; two sons, Rex Marcus (Teresa) of Clanton and Larry McLain (Shirley) of Jemison; two brothers, Pat Marcus (Vivian) of Ft. Walton, Fla., Don Marcus (Ruth) of Pleasant Grove; sister, Mary Williams of Jemison; two grandsons, Anthony Marcus (Bridget) of Clanton and Adam Jack Marcus of Clanton; granddaughter, Adrienne McLain of Clanton; granddaughter, Ariel McLain of Clanton.

Friends will be received from 5-8 p.m. on June 25 at Martin Funeral Home Chapel.

Services will be held on June 26 at 11 a.m. at Martin Chapel with Adam Jack Marcus officiating.

Interment will follow in Chilton Memorial Gardens in Clanton.
