Bethsalem Baptist Church

Bro. Cleve Mallory began the service with the baptism of Claire Crowe, Joshua Thrasher and Whitney Gray. Ministry opportunities were announced by Roy Martin, followed by the recognition of godly fathers. Special music, “Amazing Grace,” was provided by Bro. Cleve.

Our message was given by Bro. Phil from Joshua 7:1-3. His topic was “The Natural Sin of Israel.” This is Bro. Phil’s last week with us. He will be going to Bones Chapel.

Wednesday night service: Prayer meeting at 6:30 p.m., Team Kids for children and Students Outlet.

Happy Birthday to Debbie Jones, Drew Smith, Charles Bryant, Giorgia Wilson, Roger Padgett ,Jason Barrett, Jake Chavers, Wendy Spigner, Jerry Jackson, Susan Parker and David Clackley.

Pray for Bruce Moore, Hunter Moore, Nina Goode, Lilliana Thompson, the Crawford family, the Hunt family’s adoption, Taylor Barnes Kay Ray, Elridge Townsend, Susan Harrison, Tyler Barnes, Bridges of Faith Mission Team in Ukraine, Charles and Randy Bryant, George and Diana Williams, Sid Griner, Elaine Hayes, Lula Spigner and our Pastor Search Committee.

Mountain Springs Church

Services started with Bro. Kenneth Moates leading the church in the following hymns: “Jesus Is Coming Soon,” “I Would Not Be Denied,” “It’s Not an Easy Road,” “Anywhere is Home” and “Amazing Grace.”

After Sunday School, Bro. Kenneth led the church in the hymn “Are You Washed in the Blood” and Kellie Bice sang “Homesick.”

Bro. Don preached from Philippians 4:11-13. Whatever tomorrow may bring, through Christ we can face it all. God will not put on you more than you will be able to bear.

Sunday night’s service began with Bro. Kenneth leading the church in the hymns “I’ll Be Satisfied,” “I’m Going That Way” and “When the Redeemed Are Gathering In.”

Bro. Kenneth gave a devotion from Matthew 7:21-27. The will of God is for our life to be conformed to the Word of God.

Bro. Don preached from Philippians 2:24-25. We are companions in working for Christ, and we need to support others who are working for Christ.

Don’t forget our services are Sundays at 9:45 a.m. and 5: 30 p.m. and Wednesday’s at 7 p.m. Hope to see you there!
