Cedar Grove Church

Prayer concerns: Joyce Scott, Janet Wyatt, Gary Hubbard, Roger Cleckler, Billy Wyatt, Renee Cleckley, Mary McGuire, spoken and unspoken requests. We are in prayer for those unable to come out and be with us.

Bro. Jeff Carroll’s text came from John 14:1-5. His sermon was titled “How Can We Know the Way?”

If any gospel be preached other than salvation through Jesus Christ, it will not get you to heaven. We know it is being preached by some well-known ministers that there is more than one way to heaven. We beg of you, please to not buy into the devil’s lies. If you do not plan on going to heaven, you do not have to do anything; you can live any way you want and say whatever you want, and rest assured, your one-way ticket to hell is reserved. On the other hand, if you plan on going to heaven, how can we get there? Jesus tells us in John 14:7-9, “I am the way the truth and the life. No one cometh unto the Father except through me.” Salvation means eternal life, and the way to heaven is not through you. It matters not what others may say or do, how many times you may say you are good enough, or that you can go to heaven because your parents went; we can only enter heaven if we come under the conviction of Jesus Christ, ask forgiveness of our sins, and ask him to come into our hearts as our Lord and Savior. Then, and only then, can you enter the gates of heaven! We urge you today if you do not know Jesus as your Savior, do not delay, for his return is truly drawing nearer.

God Bless and have a great week!
