William D. Rhodes, 76, of Maplesville, passed away on May 22 at his residence. He was born in Chilton County on Aug. 2, 1937; the son of the late Ross Rhodes and the late Lula Hicks Rhodes.

He was a farmer.

He is survived by his wife, Carolyn Rhodes of Maplesville; son, James Rhodes (Darlene) of Stanton; son, William Earl Rhodes (Becky) of Clanton; six grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren.

He is preceded in death by his daughters, Linda Logan and Carol Sue Rhodes.

Visitation will be held on May 24 from 5-7 p.m. at Ellison-Cleckler Funeral Home.

Funeral services will be held on May 25 at 2 p.m. from the Memorial Chapel of Ellison-Cleckler Funeral Home with the Rev. Teddy Chadwick officiating.

Burial will follow in Pilgrims Rest Baptist Cemetery in Maplesville.
