Athalee “Buck” Porter

Athalee “Buck” Porter, 92, of Jemison, passed away on May 22.

She was born on Nov. 24, 1920 in Chilton County, daughter of the late Odis Price and the late Floy Pate Price.

She was a homemaker.

Surviving are her sons, Leo Porter (Dot) of Jemison, Tommy Porter (Linda) of Jemison; daughters, Annie Lee Littleton (Bobby) of Clanton, Judy Henderson (James) of Clanton; 11 grandchildren, 22 great-grandchildren and five great great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Leonard Porter, daughter, Kathy Hubbard and daughter, Janice Marie Porter.

Friends will be received from 5-8 p.m. on May 24 at Pates Chapel Baptist Church.

Services will be held on May 25 at 11 a.m. at Pates Chapel Baptist with the Rev. Randall Mims and the Rev. Gary Jones officiating.

Interment will follow in Pates Chapel Baptist Cemetery in Jemison.
