Chilton’s Britnell, Seaton sign with LaGrange

Chance Britnell and Michael Seaton have played sports together since they were in the first grade.

Though they’ll graduate from Chilton County High School later this month, the duo will have the opportunity to continue their football careers at LaGrange College in Georgia.

Britnell and Seaton held a joint signing ceremony Monday at the school.

They both pointed to the environment and the coaching staff at LaGrange as reasons they picked the school. Both also thanked their families as reasons for their opportunity to play college sports.

CCHS coach Donnie Hand said Britnell and Seaton deserved the chance to further their careers.

“They’re both good leaders, on and off the field,” Hand said of the players that helped the Tigers to a 10-2 record.
